- In 1982 and 1983, she won the Canadian National Championships and was first overall at the 1983 Invitational meet at Lausanne, Switzerland
- She won the Gold Medal in the rhythmic gymnastics event at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics Games.
- Fung was the first person ever to win this particular event.
